huey’s technology question

Newton believed that technology could be a tool for either liberation or oppression and predicted that societies would develop into technocrats and those who serve their interests. Newton also emphasised the importance of community control of technology as a means to free people from oppression. In 1972, the Black Panther Party revised their 10 Point program.

During the creation of this series Ai technology has emerged as a disruptive force. 4 pieces of art in this exhibition were created with Ai assistance. We are exploring the ethical, moral and political implications of this in Huey’s technology question.
